Cleaning a rest house, camp, or hair house outside Riyadh

A rest house, a camp, or a hair house is used all at once: guests, coffee, a door open onto the dirt. Then it sits closed for days and the dust settles on the seating. That is not the routine of an apartment in town.

What actually gets dirty

  • Cushions, bolsters, and rugs, from dust as much as from daily use.
  • The kitchen after a big meal: a little grease, a lot of it in one night.
  • Bathrooms after a crowd.
  • The floor at the entrance, where shoes bring the soil in.
  • Outdoor rugs and seating in the yard, and in a hair house the cloth of the structure itself.

Fabric and steam are in the majlis and sofa guide. Do not soak wool because the place is “outside Riyadh” and dries faster. The cloth mats before it dries.

Before the guests, not after they complain

The useful time is the day before the weekend, not the morning people arrive. Fine dust needs a window so it does not blow back in through an open door while the work is going on.

  • Name it: majlis, kitchen, bathrooms, yard, hair house.
  • If you let the place between guests, a fixed rhythm beats an emergency call every time.
  • Send the number of majlis sets and bathrooms. “A large rest house” is not enough to estimate the time.

If the last work on the site was building or an extension, this dust is plaster and cement, not road dust. That is post-construction cleaning, and it needs photos before a price.

What we leave out on purpose

A rest-house visit does not include an AC wash, a tank, or the facade unless we agree. A tank that sits in a place you rarely use is worth its own look, because the water stands. See the tank guide if months have passed.

Frequently asked questions

Is a camp the same job as a villa?

No. There are usually fewer rooms, and more cloth and outdoor dust. The time goes to the seating and the yard, not to indoor cupboards.

Should we burn incense and then clean?

Clean before the guests. Burn incense after. If you clean and then burn incense for hours, the smell is back in the cloth and needs treating again.

Can you come late at night after the guests leave?

We set the time around the crew and the drive. Do not assume someone will arrive after midnight unless the booking says so.

The site is outside the neighbourhoods. Does the price change?

Distance, how easy it is to get in, and the condition of the place all sit in the price. Send the location and photos of the majlis and bathrooms when you book.

The short version

A rest house gets dirty from dust and guests in one go. Book before the weekend, and name the majlis and the yard rather than “a general clean”. Book the rest-house clean, and pair the furnishings with the majlis guide.
