How long does it take to grind and polish a 100 m² marble hall?
By Salem Al-Salem · Partner & General Manager4 min read

A 100 m² marble hall usually takes one to two working days. Scratch depth matters more than the area itself.
The steps
- **Inspection:** we check scratch depth and the type of marble, and whether a polish is enough or it needs grinding.
- **Preparation:** we cover walls, doors and nearby furniture, and move what needs moving.
- **Wet grinding:** the machine runs with water and the slurry is picked up as we go, so no dust spreads.
- **Polishing:** successive grades until the shine is back.
- **Sealing (optional):** once the floor is fully dry. Details in nano sealing for marble.
- **Handover:** site clean-up and everything put back.
What makes it longer
- Deep scratches or lots of cement splash.
- Uneven joints between tiles.
- Heavy furniture to move within the same room.
Getting the house ready
- Clear small items out of the hall.
- Tell us where water and power are.
- Keep people off the floor until we finish.
Prices by area are on the prices page. Send a close photo of the scratches when you book so we can estimate the time properly.
FAQ
Can we stay in the house?
Yes. We work room by room, and wet grinding does not fill the house with dust.
When can we walk on the floor?
Carefully right after polishing, and a few hours after sealing.
