Pest control for Riyadh cafés and restaurants: getting ready for inspection

A restaurant or café cannot rely on a single spray. Food, water and heat draw pests in every day, and inspections come unannounced. What protects you is a programme of regular visits and a clear record of each one.

What an inspector notices

  • Any sign of cockroaches or rodents in the kitchen and storeroom.
  • Cracks and gaps around pipes and under equipment.
  • How clean the waste and drainage areas are.
  • The visit log: when the site was treated, and with what.

How scheduled visits work

  1. **First inspection:** we identify the pest and where it comes from.
  2. **Treatment:** matched to the pest, with obvious gaps sealed.
  3. **Regular visits:** at times that do not disrupt service, such as before opening.
  4. **Report:** notes from each visit and what the team should change.

What to do between visits

  • Do not leave food uncovered overnight.
  • Clean under and behind equipment every week.
  • Keep bins closed and empty them daily.

What it costs

Restaurant and café contracts start from 2,200 SAR a year with scheduled visits. For homes: 250 SAR for an apartment and 500 SAR for a villa. Details are on the prices page and the pest control service. Our cockroach guide covers the follow-up after treatment.

FAQ

Do we close during treatment?

Usually we work before opening or after closing, so service does not stop.

How many visits a year?

It depends on the size of the site and the infestation. We set the number after the first inspection.
